EOR TCP Conference: The Annual Meeting of EOR Scientists and Research Providers from Around the World

The EOR TCP is one of 33 independent technical collaboration programs endorsed by the International Energy Agency looking at key areas of energy production and optimization. The Energy Optimization Recovery TCP examines technical advances in areas of oil and gas that optimize recovery while helping the industry attain Net-Zero by 2050.

The Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) is one of the Canadian representatives on the EOR TCP executive and is hosting the Annual Conference at the Hotel Arts in Calgary September 26-29th, with technical presentations and panels in the following focus areas:

• Dynamic Reservoir Characterization

• Fluids and Interfaces

• Natural (Physical, Chemical) reactions

• Emerging Technologies

• Special Session: Oil and Gas and the role of C02 EOR in the Energy Transition

The Executive of the EOR TCP includes representatives from 17 different countries. The Call for Presentations from researchers across the member countries is underway, with the conference agenda expected to be set by Mid-August.

This is a technical and scientific conference that will highlight advances from across the participating countries, and across Canada. This is not a trade show. The Government of Canada is a main sponsor of the Annual Meeting.
